https://www.ebay.com/itm/302390731708 So, somebody is on this. I certainly want to but this price a bit much for me. I have a working tempest and I have been collection parts to convert it but I really don't want to ruin my tempest. Was thinking of non permanent changes (different control panel, no sideart change). Any thoughts on this?

Tempest are never junk in my eyes.

If you can find one that was converted into another game, it would be a good candidate.
