I have a Tower of Power redemption game, 1 of 3 sides is not working. Here is a video of what it does on the credit LED display and on the cpu board.

I'm going to guess it's coin since the credits display is going crazy, but not sure. Will disconnect ticket dispenser and coin switch 1 by 1 and test.

I disconnected the coin switch molex from the cpu board, power cycled, no change. Same for the ticket molex.

I tried swapping cpu boards from the non-working section and a working section. Problem went away completely!

The clicking sound was the counter for both ticket and coin by the way! After i swapped the boards around they became happy. I think the cpu boards are the three bears. Im goldilocks.

EDIT- as long as ticket molex and coin molex were disconnected from the cpu board the counters would stop. As soon as I re-connected, even after a power cycle, they would start clicking again.

Check for a bad coin switch(shorted) or ticket dispenser PCB i would try reconnecting one at time to see which one is the troublemaker. it is easier now to just replace the ticket PCB than fix. most likely the notch transistor is shorted

both the ticket and coin counter showed the same symptom when they were connected. Problem went away when i swapped the cpu boards around
