Hi Guys,
I have a pcb with one working side ( the 2nd side). I know to use this side In a unisystem I have to populate both sides of the board with ppu, cpu and roms in order for the 2nd side to become playable ( if not the game just keeps resetting).
Is it possible to change something on the board to make the 2nd half of the board be the unisystem side as I don't have extra cpu and ppu to use on the non working side.
Cheers

The "sub" pcb side for a unisystem 1 monitor cabinet is what you would populate your eproms, cpu and ppu with.  That Location starts at 6A on the pcb.  The other side of the pcb is left empty since you are operating a single monitor unisystem.  Super mario bros does require a jumper wire on 2 pins of the cpu socket slot (search) on the main side or the use of the dummy cpu rp2a04 off memory.

It is possible to use the second side if your using a Jamma cabinet. I found a VS board to Jamma adapter that lets you switch games by button press combo.

Combine this with Multi-Vs kit X2 that would give you I believe a maximum of 16 Vs games on a single board.

Downside is none of the daughter card games are supported and you would really hack up your unisystem to get the jamma adaptor to work.
