So this LITERALLY fell into my lap!
OK maybe not literally... Perhaps it didn’t actually fall... and certainly not in my LAP.
Today I acquired a Williams 1986 Pin*Bot!  It was quite a ways away - but I followed Johns sage advice - I wanted it and I emailed him and said I will take it what's your address!  The was done!  We had a brief phone conversation where we became friendly and all other offers he got in the next 24 hours were turned down - because I was on my way!  The seller liked that I was an enthusiast of arcades and especially that Pin*Bot was a particular favourite of mine - and no someone who would put some lipstick on it and flip it! it has been in his collection for 15 years.

When I arrived we talked for a while and looked over the machine - he even offered me a beer!
I was also given a box of goodies - little projects that he never got to - including 2 Visor replacements - 3 sets of helment targets, bulbs and lots of rubbers and plastic art replacement pieces - PLUS the manual that had never been taken out of its sleeve!
I got it at a steal too!  if Pinside's estimates are accurate at all.

Here she is...

Now I have a pin!

Congratzi! What area (major city/state) are you from? (I noticed your profile stated WINNIPEG)...

So where was the pinbot sold at? I'm curious how far you drove to get it as I'm in the same for the same machine (but not yours, i'm still saving up the cash!)

So where was the pinbot sold at?

My PinBot was located 2.5hr Drive away in the next Province (Kenora, Ontario)...
It was actually my home town so - I was familiar with the drive.

The drive back with PinBot was the nerve-racking part!
There were massive storm clouds!!  Luck intervened and the storms stayed on one side or the other of the highway.
It was well tarped anyway

In my opinion...
A good pin is worth a 2 hour drive especially if it is a decent price and on your 'must have' list.

Congrats on getting an absolute classic! Good work!! Looks decent. How is the playfield?
Thanks John!  the playfield is in REALLY good shape!!    a mylar replacement would make it perfect, but all the paint on the playfield is perfect (some plastics have small cracks - but I actually have replacements in the goodie box...  As soon as the parts I ordered, arrive my step-son, daughter and I are going to take it apart and clean everything, wax the play-field and put it back together.
