Hi all, first arcade game I ever played was Double Dragon at a Round Table Pizza in 1988. I was hooked at a very young age of 8! I have many countless fond memories of playing that along with all of the other greats back then in grocery stores, malls, restaurants, convenience stores..  Close to 20 years later I was lucky enough to score a Double Dragon on eBay for dirt cheap in its original cabinet about 3 hours away. We rented a truck and took the whole day to drive there and back, on my birthday mind you, for it. It was awesome. =} I restored it over the next year, learning a lot.

I'm currently restoring a & Jr. paired cabinets that are in pretty damn good shape considering how old they are. I'll be asking questions about those, and hopefully in the future with more games I get! John's Sanyo EZ monitor re-cap / rebuild video on YouTube helped me through doing that kind of thing for the first time. It's awesome getting more into this hobby and learning more about arcade restoration & repair, including the electronics side of things.

Big thanks to John and everyone here for being awesome!
