Hi Guys,

Looking for help/guidance on a Galaga cocktail that I've been working on. Here's the story, I bought the machine a few weeks ago and it worked fine in the guy's garage, we played a few games, no issues. I get it home, play 1 game and it freezes up. I took out the power supply, checked the connections and installed new fuse holders and fuses. I am getting exactly 5 volts at the board. Also  bought the Galaga pcb refresh kit and worked through all of that, cleaned all of the chips and reinstalled. Still no luck.

Next, I got a working board from a friend, plugged it in, the cabinet/wiring/power supply works fine. I swapped in the working pcb sound side with my pcb game side, all of the chips from the working board and the game now hangs at the beginning garbled screen without going to the boom and advancing to the game.

Any ideas on where to look now? I've double checked all of the new solder joints and all looks well, but something on my pcb must be off, I just can't figure out what.

Frozen screen at startup
