Looking at buying some speakers for my cab. And I am a little unsure what to get. I was looking at Car speakers for easy mounting. What do you guys recommend? Are most car speakers shielded? Or are only PC speakers shielded. Trying to figure what to buy.

Appreciate it!

Zero car speakers are shielded and are kind of overkill for most arcade projects. They absolutely will work for the most part but a paper cone driver is fine. In my experience shielded speakers are rarely used unless they are an inch or two from the tube. Try MCM, Parts Express or Arcade boneyard for some. As always eBay is a great source.
