I live near a shop that has enough stock to completely rebuild most arcade machines.
so I just drove 5 mins up the street and bought a cap kit..

I hope this damn thing works after.

DK was my first cap kit as well, everyone says the Sanyo is the hardest monitor to cap due the the sheer number of caps it has, no better way to learn if you ask me. Usually fixes most issues with these, good job!

actually my father ran an RCA TV repair shop.
he use to make me sit in the back room all day for 10 bux and strip old tube TV's (only saw him a few times a month) or he would have me go out and like change the timing belt in his
buick electra or something random. by the time I was 19, I was wiring german setra or  MCI motor coaches  welding , painting whatever.

Ever since ive been here ive mentioned I wanted 3 machines.. well 4.
the forth one I would buy in minty condition because its a gift for a sick friend. tempest.

I just capped my dk as well.  I get my caps from partsexpress.  The hole cap kit cost me $8.40 and that included shipping.  They have a ton of caps in stock.  They also have high temp caps for the areas that get a lot of heat.   A good soldering iron and desoldering iron makes doing cap kits easy.
