Planning to do a total restore on a Blue Print and I'm looking for a PCB (working or not). Also looking for artwork (cpo, sideart, kick-plate) but I won't hold my breath on that. Seems like no one has done the artwork. Also need marquee and bezel. Yeah, I need it all, but right now, I'm most in need of the pcb. Surely there's a hoarder out there who has one?

Keep us updated. Enjoyed reading through it. When I first started doing this, I would frequently get frustrated with my work because everything that John and others post on Facebook seems so perfect. But a little bit of visible wear and tear is not a bad thing. You had absolutely nothing to lose on that cabinet since many others would have just scrapped it.
Incidentally, I have a Championship Sprint cab project waiting for me in storage. I keep dreading it because it is also very water damaged. Maybe this is the kick in the pants I needed to get it going.

Yeah, that curl can be a real pain. I've spent a lot of time with the hidden pot but can never get it set perfectly. I think I'm going to just start replacing any cap that I can that wasn't in the cap kit.
I was kind of hoping John and Phet would improve upon the old flow chart that we use for troubleshooting a 4600 so that we could actually pinpoint certain caps that cause certain issues. That's a lot of work though.
Thanks for the advice, I'll look at that paper cap and see what I can figure out.

In the last episode of the Arcade Outsiders, there was some talk about John and Phet consolidating all the info they've come across on the various uncommon caps that may need to be replaced on a 4600 (aside from what typically comes in a cap kit). There was some info at the end of the last Jump Bug episode that talked about what fixed the blurry screen, but I've been hoping to see something more thorough because I am having trouble with a 4600 in a Satan's Hollow that I recently capped. Everything is working but the colors aren't real vibrant and there is a little bit of curl along the right edge of the screen that I can't seem to get rid of.

Ian - I am trying to understand how to handle the yellow wire (pin 5 I think on the schematic) is listed as "Yel + Shield Gnd". It sounds like I'm supposed to tie the yellow wire to a ground wire after it leaves the chassis but it doesn't show up that way on the drawing. Pull up the Galaga schematic and see if you can tell what I mean. Any help would be great. Not sure what you need the pic for. The video goes out of the 6 pin header of the PCB and goes right into the monitor with separate cable than the wire harness.

Can't seem to get any help on KLOV so, hopefully, someone here can help.
Could anyone please take a pic inside their Galaga cabaret (or full size since it is probably the same) at the wiring where the 6 pins from the monitor chassis plug into the video board? Would also like a pic of the same wires where they plug into the chassis.
I've been having trouble understanding one thing on the schematics and those two pics would really help.

Recently re-read 2001. Coincidentally, I'm also re-watching John's Ms. Pac cabaret restore. The classic line in 2001 is, "My God, it's full of stars." In episode 7, as he's installing the vinyl, John says, "My God, my butt is starting all these games."
John and Arthur C. Clarke, literary bro's.
