If this is the cabertail it will be the only known one to exist! I really hope this goes to a good guy who will document it.

Yes I want to know if it is the cabertail cabinet. Photos will really determine if it is the uber rare version.

I picked up a Platinum Apple IIe with numeric keypad circa 1986 yesterday in Simi Valley.
Hooked it up to my Television and it works great.  Now I've got to find some classic Apple II
software to go with it.

There are tons of great games for the ][e and //c my brother has a //c I used to play all the time when I was a kid.

"Scan lines" are caused because s 240 pixel tall image is displayed on a 600 line tall CRT.

And on most arcade CRTs that are standard resolution the shadow mask isn't fine enough to distinguish scan lines, it is more apparent on a monitor with a fiber shadow mask (or aperture grille) like a  medium resolution or tri-res tube.

On a 19" G07 or 19" K7000 I have never been able to see scan lines even when the monitor is completely dialed in.

Yes you need a 120v to 100v isolation transformer. A Nintendo one is a good choice, universal cabinets have 100v in them too,

Might I suggest that rather than getting a bench supply, just get a long extension cord like a 25' or 50' and plug in into the 100v output in one of your Nintendo cabinets and run the extension over to your bench.

Now you don't have to drag the game over to your bench or the monitor to the game.
