Groovy arcade is a good alternative paired with a JPac I have this setup in a non destructive cocktail conversion. All hooked to a vertical G07 it's pretty amazing and I have every vertical 4way game with two buttons or less.. Over 100 games not counting speed hacks and clones.
Your tube is an RCA tube, sticker in pics.. All of my G07's have RCA tubes. It's what I used on my G07 tube swap.
Also remember to use continuity setting on your multimeter to test from the soldered leg of each cap and follow the trace to ensure continuity, especially the one you mentioned that had a lifted pad on the pcb
Down here in south Florida it's certified nuts to give out your location.
Post on the village down here about a long running post on CL for a Kiss Pinball, they say come check it out at this bar, great shape, crazy CL pin price as usual.
After a while there is a new post on CL.. Reward for stolen Kiss Pinball! LOL
So I start playing just to hear the Stereo effects that John is talking about.. Ok it's pretty good and I remind myself to get some time on Journey at the next expo.. Then I keep playing saying that I need to get the bonus so that I can hear the music..
And play and play..
I think it's a good game, has a That Tron mini-game feel.. MCR all the way.. Now I'm a fan and its in my favorites.. Wish I had played one back when I was a kid in the 80's..
Just saying until you play it and get the bonus, gotta get the bonus.. Don't hate on some Journey..
Hey everyone!! Love the podcast and John's arcade videos are just a credit to the hobby.
;)
Only two games right now, but once my in-laws get extra oldie and go off to the retirement cottage complex asylum and get out of my pool house.. Oh then its on.. An entire arcade house for my many projects.
