1  Nintendo Talk / NINTENDO VS. FORUM / Re: First Nintendo Vs Cab -- Odd Find on: February 02, 2018, 10:22:52 pm
Is there any odd bolt holes or openings cut into the front of the cab?

Whoa, that is a heavy duty relay setup. I see a few orphan plugs hanging out by the coin mechs, best I can tell it was crazy free play mod... maybe a card reading type like Dave and Busters. Where does that skinny black wire go up by the control panel?

You should poke around inside the cab, it could be something as simple as a loose connection. Always start with power and make sure you have AC voltage going to the monitor! Then make sure the RGBHV plug is fully seated. Take some photo's inside the cab and report back, probably wells gardner medium resolution in there.
9  Tech and Marketplace / I need help with my game! - Technical Discussion / Re: Speaker Recommendation on: April 07, 2017, 02:24:59 pm
Zero car speakers are shielded and are kind of overkill for most arcade projects. They absolutely will work for the most part but a paper cone driver is fine. In my experience shielded speakers are rarely used unless they are an inch or two from the tube. Try MCM, Parts Express or Arcade boneyard for some. As always eBay is a great source.

Warlords, Battle Zone and Astroids...all are variations of concept art for commercial use.
