I'm assuming its not getting voltage as ive put a new bulb in it and nothing. I'm thinking theirs some wires in the back not attached and its not getting power.

The question for this post is. How do I with the lighting issues?

Simply the marquee and the coin door lights don't want to function. I am confident that its a wiring issue on the coin doors.

The machine was routed in its previous life before I got it. I think someone might have hacked up the power supply or disconnected power to the box. I will be posting a few more videos while i try to figure this all out. I'm also confident that they put the wrong replacement light in the top of it as well.

Tried the string for the first time today. Hot damn did it dredge up some results. Suddenly getting items only 30 minutes away from me as results! I kind of wish i tried it sooner!!!!

Mine is a craigslist i did. Bought my first cabinet, a neo-geo. Turns out first time moving a machine and I am REALLY out of shape. 300+ pound machine vs scrawny "can barely lift 100 pounds" rampage. Yeah didn't go too well.

Anyways I eventually got it into my garage. Then i REALLY started looking at it. The machine itself """works""" but im pretty sure somewhere along the line someone either switched cabinets or something because theres no back door theres some weird square shape hole you cant really get to anything without having to unscrew the back yes i said UNSCREW the back...

The machine itself seemed to be in decent shape but i think it had too many buttons.... anyways long story short like a moron i paid 500 bucks for a machine thats too big to fit in my car, too heavy to move on my own, working with issues like the light isn't right...

I'm not put off the hobby but this machine really makes me think im a cabaret collector. small easy to move machines that wont blow my back out trying to move them . My regret is not buying a smaller machine for my first one!

forgive the bad photographs. Its got a marquee issue. The monitor is off on the colors and its a bit too far to the right on the monitor as well. the first player joystick makes a horrendous "Crick Crick Crick" noise and gets stuck when you try to use it and needs repair.

For all of its faults the machine isn't *THAT* horrible its got its issues but it's functional. I plan on repairing it as profit comes in from my store.

Now a few problems i DO need help with.

I cannot get the control panel to open.

And I need a cheap replacement lock for the coin door.

might want to take better pictures for the saturn lot.  its kinda hard to see what games are in the lot in some of the pictures. and one is a bit blurry.
