1  Tech and Marketplace / I need help with my game! - Technical Discussion / First freebie score on: May 18, 2017, 12:21:00 am
Answered one of those weird brief postings for free arcade games. It worked out, picked up (2) TMNT cabs missing just the whole control panels and pcbs (and they both have just the single speaker on top, (2) midway cabs; NBA Jam and MK2 (both missing the same as the other 2, and (2) others that have golden tee 2K and golden tee fore ( both up and running after repairing some wire issues. Last week picked up anothe free game from my cousin which he had at his work. Ended up being a hacked up, painted over neo geo. 3 coats of paint stripper later got to the original  cab graphics. Need to find a lot of parts to bring it back to original. But it has Soul Edge running in it now.

What are you voltages out of the power supply? Is 5 volts going to the board? Is your monitor powering up?

So last week scored 6 cabinets for free. All have monitors, full wire harnesses, power supplies, glass bezels. (2) midway, nba jam and mk2. (2) konami cabs both T.M.N.T. with out the whole control panel assembly. The other 2 have not figured out yet. Out of all of them was able to get 2 up and running golden tee 2K and golden tee fore. Not a bad score.
