I put everything back into the cab and now my Crazy Kong PCB has graphics corruptions on Kong, jumpman is missing the top half and the barrels are totally missing. My eprom reader does not support the TMS2532 chips, but I found if I make an adaptor and swap 2 pins it will work as a 2732. I did a quick check by bending the pins and I could read 2 of the 4 gfx chips so this makes me think the other 2 are bad, but I will make the adaptor in the morning and read them properly to check on romident.

I updated the build log and this is how it currently looks.

I worked on the cab today. The speaker came in so I fitted that along with a 3d printed speaker grill. then I filled the holes, sanded and painted. I also made the control panel in the week.

I knew you would like it, I found your old threads talking about it while searching for artwork.

WOW! I LOVE IT. I WANT.

Thanks, I have worked on it over the weekend and I am just waiting for a few bits to arrive before I can finish the painting and then cover the sides in wood grain vinyl.

Take a look at my build log.

I don't have much spare cash at the moment so it's on a bit of a budget, but I plan to replace parts later as and when I have the money. I am working on this each day and adding pictures when I have something to share.

Hi Everyone, I have designed a LED replacement for the Neo Geo EL panels and I am selling kits.
Please take a look at www.neogeoledmarquee.info for pictures, install guides and videos. The kit has been successfully installed in 2 and 4 slot uprights, Big red, US 6 slot and EU electrocoin 6 slot cabinets.

The cost for 4 slot kit is around £100 depending on a few details like if you're missing the ELA cable and you need a replacement.

I only have a few of the panels left, but should be ordering another 120 soon. These have been very popular on the neogeo forums who helped loads with the initial testing.

[Update] I just ordered another 120 of the light panels and they will take a few weeks.

I made a mistake and the graphics do not line up with the controls, but it will do for the moment. Now I just need the cap kit from Ian.
42  Arcade and Pinball Discussions / Beginner's Help Corner / Horizontal and vertical monitor placement on: December 06, 2016, 06:08:55 pm
HI,

I have a 19" Toei CM-R14 / CM-R20 monitor in my taito cabinet with a 60 in 1 game. I recently brought a track and field board and I am looking to make a new cabinet for it. I can buy a vga crt monitor for a decent price and was thinking I could use it for my multi game and then use the toei for track and field. When I put the toei on the bench in the horizontal position I noticed strange colours on the screen like it needed degaussing so this has made me think it would not be suitable for track & field.

Is this correct or can it work.
thanks

Lee

I am giving it a go, but it still includes just about every console going so it will need a lot more filtering.
once I have something useful I will post it back.
