City Connection was fun. Will also have to play it on MAME.

Tiger Road was another game I played in Germany. It was a pretty good game.

When I was in Germany as a kid, I remember playing Xain'd Sleena in the bowling alley there. I loved that game. I got good enough to finish the game on one . I pulled it up on my MAME cabinet the other day and played it. I was surprised how much I remembered about the game.

Another game I thought was a good game was Slapfight (Alcon in the US). I liked how the weapon systems worked and you could upgrade to whichever weapon you wanted to.

So ArcadeShop sells a 4" ball and roller and bearing kits. I double checked my machine and the ball on mine is the 4.5" ball. Happ sells a 4.5" ball in red, green, and blue. Would it be a bad thing to use a color ball for a replacement? I could probably get a friend to make me new rollers for it.

Yeah, I plan to. The bearings are no bueno and I could clean up the rollers but might as well get the kit.

I think I found a replacement over at arcadeshop. Hopefully they still have some.

Rygar on nes is way better than the arcade. Tmnt turtles in time was better on snes. (the shredder fight where yu throw foot guys into the screen to hit him on snes was awesome)

I can't agree with Rygar being better on the NES. The arcade is a much better game. They were quite different from each other so I don't know if you can really compare them.

I think they used to sell them but don't have them anymore. I saw a cached version of the site that had it but search the site now and there are none.

I have a Missile Command and I am about to start with getting the thing up and going and I need some parts for it that are in bad shape. The trackball is rough and pitted in several places. I am looking for a replacement but searching the webs, I didn't not find any place that sells a replacement. It is the big trackball. I believe it is 4" or 4.5".

Any assistance would be appreciated in pointing me in the direction of one.

Thanks.

I listened to the AO podcast and really enjoyed it. I have been a weekly listener now and have wondered over to the forum.

I have enjoyed arcades as a kid. It was always so exciting to insert your and play a game in a dark room with all the lights and sounds coming from the many machines. If you were good at a game, you would have a crowd of other kids watching you giving you a taste of what it might be like to be a rock star.

Being much older now, I have started to collect games and fixing them up to like new.
My first game is a Gorf Cocktail, that I bought for $50 on craigslist. It had a scrambled screen when powered on and the cab was roughed up a bit. I pulled the board stack and cleaned and reseated each board and started working perfectly. Repaired the cab and now is a great looking machine.

I also have a Ms. Pac Man Cabaret
A Sega Crackdown that was converted to a 1-slot Neo Geo, so I fixed it up to look like a Neo Geo
A Missile Command (not working)
A 1963 Williams Big Daddy pinball machine (also not working)

I would love to find a Dedicated Dragon's Lair game someday.

It will be great to chat with other people about games and their repair/restoration.
