Title: DK board with save kit and DK Jr add-on chip, how do I access the menu? Post by: ken on April 04, 2017, 08:25:25 pm Hi,
I just got a Donkey Kong machine and it has a save kit and DK Jr add-on chip in it. Could anyone tell me how to access the chip menu? I read to press a button during boot but I've tried every button and combo I could think of with no luck. My main issue is I think the chip is modifying the regular DK so it has max lives even though the pins are all set to off (except for H for upright). I'd like to get this back to the default 3 lives. Here are a few photos of the board and boot screen: http://imgur.com/a/i5IXP Does anyone know what my options might be? If it's defective can I simply pull out the chip labeled DK Jr? Post by: kavon on April 25, 2017, 03:52:04 pm Toggle between games by simply pressing both the player-1 and player-2 start buttons at the same time. Instantly the game will reset and switch to the other game.
