Title: Strikers 1945 missing sprites Post by: jessiewonka on March 21, 2015, 07:07:01 PM Just received this board in the mail, which looks in good condition, and sold as 100% working. I tried reseating roms but nothing helps, it just stays like this.

Great choice on a game tho. It is one of my fave shooters Title: Re: Strikers 1945 missing sprites Post by: jessiewonka on March 22, 2015, 01:15:44 PM Well we'll see how I do, next to no soldering experience, and just ordered my first gun. Can't be too hard right! : )
Title: Re: Strikers 1945 missing sprites Post by: iankellogg on March 22, 2015, 03:38:41 PM good find!!! surface mount chips can be a real pain to solder. Be very careful and inspect your work afterwards.
Title: Re: Strikers 1945 missing sprites Post by: jessiewonka on March 26, 2015, 03:03:26 AM Fixed!
(http://jessiejohnson.net/arcade/strikers-1945/strikers-fixed.jpg) Honestly if it weren't for John this wouldn't have gone so smoothly, from narrowing down the problem to basic soldering. Thanks man! Title: Re: Strikers 1945 missing sprites Post by: offset on March 26, 2015, 09:51:01 AM Great work!
