Title: Quantum Build
Post by: jasonsmith on June 30, 2014, 04:35:30 pm
John I was thinking about your cab and that front corner that was bondo'd. If you cut that whole corner off and add another piece with either a couple dowels or a biscuit to secure it, it would work nicely and would be 99% wood. Just thinking out loud.

Yeah, I think that is my plan. The wood is split down the middle at the t-molding groove. If you are looking at it straight on, the left side is the original wood and the right side is all bondo right now. I was gonna try and smooth it out and glue/dowel a new piece in there and then cut a new t-molding groove.

Ya that would work great I think while keeping it a proper and pro fix with nothing to feel bad about.

Hey John so I never put it together but was the Gravitar cab the exact style that Quantum came in or was it a kit only?
