I have an Area 51/Maximum Force board that has a bad RAM chip so I transplanted the EPROMs to a Maximum Force board. Now the game is throwing me a Ream Error. I looked it up and it has to do with the Security chip. So I am wondering where it is so I can transplant that chip too to the new board.

look for a DIP chip with a shiny white label on it.
under the label it will be a PIC microcontroller, likely a PIC16C57 or something similar.
