Hey everyone,

I want a damn high score save kit for Excitebike!

So I have created a crowdfunding type thing for Matt Osborn...

Lets give him some incentive to get it done.

In fact, I'll DOUBLE the amount - Persnoally - if anyone can beat my own high score...

Which is...

Damnit. Where the HELL is that piece of paper I wrote my scores down on?

Nevermind.

Here is the link to make a donation:

Lets help make this happen guys.

This sounds interesting, would love to back this up. but who is Scott Bardelli?

Have Matt Osborn said he is going to build it if this get founded?

Sorry for being so picky, but there are allot of untrusted stuff going on internet lately. Allots of scam crap!
No harm, Scott Bardelli, just like to get more information so we all can see where the dots connects...!

Maybe Matt can give some information.. ?

I understand your skepticism. I do not know Matt. Never met him.

I'm new on the scene. I own a DK, a Tapper (which I got for FREE!!!), a Centipede/Ikari Warriors conversion, and 2 Popeye's which are VS. conversions.

I just got an Excitebike PCB... one of my favorite games. Searched for a High Score Save Kit... found an OLD thread on KLOV that said Matt Osborn was working on one.

I assure you, whether Matt completes this project or not, he will get every cent. I mean, the guy selflessly creates these HS kits and then let's people download the ROM (or RAM, can't remember) for FREE.

I thought this would be good motivation for him to complete the project.

In a separate thread, he said something along the lines of, "maybe this will motivate me to spend more of my free time on this project, but don't get your hopes up."

That being said, the grand total is up to $50.00. So, we obviously need some more "contributions."

I don't know what else to say to "ease your mind about my intentions."

You can always email me personally at randywhatson@yahoo.com.

Like I said, I desperately want this to happen... and this is the only way I could think of to help out (as I know absolutely NOTHING about how these games REALLY work.

I swapped out a monitor and I felt like I conquered the world.

Matt is a great guy and I've had the pleasure of meeting him. I am not sure even with a money incentive he will get to this project any sooner than he currently would. He is a very busy guy.

Well...

There will be at least $50.00 waiting for him when he gets it done.

Even if he doesn't, he'll still get it (shhhh!)

Here is what Matt posted in a KLOV forum:

The high-score save part is complete and tested. I just need a bit more time to work on fixing up the freeplay mode (so it has attract). I was hoping to finish it up last week, but I couldn't find the time. This week is looking good though.
