May seem like a dumb question but does anyone know if one can pull a dk board and just put a dk jr in its place? Boards look the same but not sure if pinouts are.

Also looking for advice on adding the board(s) for both in one cab.

Yes, you can plug a DK JR. PCB into a DK cabinet. I have seen a few DK JR boards that use the edge connector only. Just make sure you find one that also has the little connectors and the edge connector. The DK cabinet is probably for sure a little connector harness unless someone converted it or something.

Thanks. Yes the dk cab is the small connector style. So is the dk jr. I will try it this evening. Just got a popeye board with a harness that is all cut up. Looks like i have some work to do tonight also.

I can only get 7k points. I am a far cry from trying to get to 100k!
I just need to figure out what i need to get to have both boards in the cab. ....which Johns arcade episode was that...?

the DK switcher episode. Cambridge Arcade has the kit you need if he'll sell you one. Smiley

Do I need to show up with a case of beer (or Tito's)? Haha.
Of course now I want to play dk again now that I switched the boards. Up to 12600. Sad, I know, but I haven't played since I was a kid. And I played a lot as a kid.
I will ask the gaming gods for favor...and I will try contacting on Friday. People are usually in a better mood on Fridays.
