There currently isn't a good place to buy Mario Bros. side art. I bought mine from Arcadeshop.com but they are now sold out. I believe that phoenixarcade.com is getting ready to do a run of the side art. I would check with them.
1957  Nintendo Talk / NINTENDO PC-10 FORUM (Playchoice) / Re: Glitchy Games on: February 09, 2011, 11:14:56 pm
Thanks guys! I have a ROM burner. I'll check the ROMs out and see if that fixes the issue. It's just odd that I would have 3 games that do this. It seems like bit rot isn't that likely.

ALSO, I should clarify, I am talking PC-10!!!!!

DaveyPocket here.

John, I must say it's pretty cool that you have a forum on your website now, especially since it's mostly focused on the Vs. System cabinet.

I have two Vs. Unisystem cabinets, one is a DK Jr. converted into a Dr. Mario (which I'm currently cosmetically restoring, particle board really sucks) and the other is... a Dr. Mario! (without the motherboard, control panel, marquee) which is in a blue cabinet. Though looking at the dates on the monitor, it says it was made in 1984, I'm not sure if this cabinet was sold as a Vs. Unisystem or a converted DK. I'm thinking about converting it to a Popeye since I have all the parts or another game (DKII?). I also own a Pac-man and Space Invaders Deluxe, but I'm here to talk about Vs. System stuff  Cheesy

Just letting you all know, I am very technically inclined and having been designing electronic devices, repairing arcade machines, and working with lots of other electronic stuff for quite a while, I can help with repair questions.

Currently, I'm hacking around with the Vs. System boards, I'll post some short threads of the progress when that happens.

(Long intro?  Grin)

Hay, Davey! Awesome that you joined us. Please be sure to post progress on you projects, would love to hear about them!

it´s no point to check CL for me cause I live in Sweden!  ;)
And if they show up on ebay there is only a small chance that the seller send overseas, so I guess I´ll have to pay overprice whenever I get the chance to get my hands on one!

But if anyone here feel that they could part from their machine and send it to sweden I´m willing to pay top dollars for it!  Grin

Oh, Sweden! D'oh. Cheesy

Fully working and not to shabby condition!

Are theese HTF? And how much would it cost me?

/pinge

You just gotta keep looking on CL and Ebay. You should be able to get one for $400 or less.

What u guys?  Glad John decided to start a forum.  Looking forward to some intense game discussion.

I'm more of a pinball guy myself but I don't own any cabinets as of yet.

Hey, shooter! Thanks for joining. What pin are you looking for?

Hey!
Nice site you´ve got john, I just stumbled across it a few days ago!

I´m relly interested in getting a Vs-System, but cant really descide if unisystem or dualsystem is the way to go... would love a red tent, but none of the system seems very easy to find? (I probablly have to get one from U.S :/ )

Anyways, I might stick around and try to snap a thing or three up!

By the way, Im a 30year old NES collector from Sweden!  Smiley

Hey, thanks for joining. Personally, I would get a red tent if you could. You can play a lot of cool games on a dualsystem and all the games of a unisystem on the same system. Multiplayer on a red tent rocks! Smiley

I have two games that have odd sprite errors. RC PRO AM, Dr. Mario, and Ninja Gaiden. The games play fine but they have little graphic glitches.

RC PRO AM has odd graphic issues on the bottom by the score
Ninja Gaiden has odd sprite issues around the main character
Dr. Mario looks great but after playing the game for 20 minutes or so the screen starts freaking out and sprites start to go haywire.

Is this bit rot on the ROMs?
