Ok...So I m a beginner...I'll admit it. I am at a total loss right now. I bought a DK cocktail non-working for cheap and I have managed to determine it plays blind. I have recapped the audio board which has drastically improved the sound and in the process I have put in a new flyback, HOT, and recapped the chassis for this Sanyo EZ 20 13" monitor, but I still get no picture. I have no idea where I should go to check now. I have no blown fuses at the moment and no neck glow.  What's next?Huh?   Huh?

3 options.
rebuild it and pray.
replace it .
Or
Just bite it, take the chassis out and send it to buffet.

Ive been so busy lately ive been sending my chassis out.
buffet is getting two of my chassis to rebuild end of this week.

I've done the cap kit, flyback, and HOT....what's left? some other caps that don't get done in the cap kit? Other pieces that I'm not sure what they are called?

I have been following this flow chart...which I don't have an option for after both fuses are good...

And here is the chassis:

B+ is putting out about 128v to 130v. I am assuming that should be adjusted down. That needs to be done while on?

Yes, it's easiest to adjust while on. If you are afraid, you can turn it down while the monitor is off. Turn it on and test. Then, turn it off again and adjust pot accordingly if needed. Rinse and repeat until you are 108V.

Adjusted the pot and it still hovers around 130v.... voltage regulator? Q901?   This is quite the learning experience.

Apparently he is a monitor wizard!

So I have learned how to test a pot and I think I have determined that the pot is bad and basically completely open with no resistance. Time to get a replacement and cross our fingers.

Ok...I've calmed down. New IC601 voltage regulator coming and a new transistor for Q901. Both coming from Twisty Wrist Arcade.
