Where are you located?  I have some components that I was planning to keep, but I may consider selling. I just need to think about it.

18  Nintendo Talk / NINTENDO VS. FORUM / Adding a gun to a Unisystem? on: July 21, 2015, 07:00:51 pm
I'm in the early pre planning stages of looking to buy a Nintendo Vs upright unisystem. I would like the ability to play Duck Hunt, Hogans Alley, and other classic shooters.

If I find a good cabinet that doesn't currently have a gun, how difficult is it to add one?  Are there any specific things to look out for when hunting for a gun?  Are the PlayChoice guns interchangeable with VS?

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Rob

20  Arcade and Pinball Discussions / Beginner's Help Corner / Two games on one power strip question on: July 17, 2015, 09:23:06 pm
Slowly I am adding more games to my arcade room. Currently each game is plugged into its own individual surge protector that is then plugged into its own outlet. I power each game up using its intended power switch on the back of each individual cabinet.

Question: if I put two games next to each other, it will be impossible to reach my hand down to power up the cabinets. Can I plug two cabinets into one single power strip?  Then leave both games turned on and use the power button on the power strip/surge protector to power both games in simultaneously?

I'd be interested in attending, but it would be more to learn. Not sure how much new skill I would be able to add to the group as I am new to arcade collecting.
