you lost me at Multicade.  To me these are about as real as a three dollar bill but I'm a purist for whom using any type of Mame in an original cabinet is akin to destroying the game. If you want to play with Mame(60-1's run off this emulator) fine...just as long as you didn't destroy a nice repairable game to do it.  I know for some people(myself included) space is an issue and I know that I will never have everything but that's not my goal.  I want to have a handful of cool games to play...when someone walks in I want them to marvel at and play my small lineup of games in the corner. Sorta "welcome to 7-11" so to speak.

I don't know if you can find a manual for a 60-1.  These boards are produced on the cheap by several manufacturers who probably don't even bother to play license fees for the games. You can probably find information for Jamma wiring harnesses and lcd monitors by googling it.

looks interesting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OzFs6jpJF08 Plus no one admits that they have one...I might do it just to say I had such a rare game.  That marquee is one of the super generic ones they printed out when they break the originals

That's in great looking shape.  Good luck getting it working

Looks great.  I hope my TMNT to Bucky O'Hare project turns out ok

Oh I would love to see them. Do you have any pics? I've never played Bucky O' Hare. How is it compared to the Turtles games or Sunset Riders?

It mixes things up and it's a 3 button game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvJpHqsCYl0

kinda a cross between turtles and metal slug is the best I can come up with

I'd consider a tube swap if I thought the boards would all work, but I haven't found a good source of information on compatible TVs. I found this document but it only lists one Sanyo model for the k4900. Is there a reason the other 19" models will not work?

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ph-otN27oZer7PGlg6IkacwA_Wpjoa6mbFpAr1qVpsk/edit?usp=sharing

The thing is that all tubes weren't made exactly the same and vary by manufacturer.  You can put in other monitors than the 4900 if you can't get it working....I think I have a fried or two who put in a new old stock Visionpro but that can be expensive and hard to track down. Thanks to Oboma's EPA it's illegal to make or import new CRTs which I think is bad for restorers

if you are talking about a tube swap yes you can do that.  There's a list of TVs that have compatible tubes out there somewhere...I just forgot where to look..

HI sphere.  I suggest if you are looking for things to play you can always put old Mame on your computer, get a USB arcade stick and try stuff out.  As for me I'm going to put down some of the stuff I think I want that may be obscure.

1. Bucky O'Hare- unknown to most people Konami made alot more 4P games than just TMNT.  Although I'm familiar with the characters what drew me in was that the game mixes up things up from the usual side scrolling shooting/beat'em up.  I'm currently building one and I hope to be done in February at the latest but the weather and my bank account may not agree.

2. Sunset Riders - second only to bucky for me is Konami's 4P side scrolling western themed shooter.  It's a pretty challenging game with one hit deaths, tons of cowboys and bullets flying everywhere and a horseback level where you chase a train.  It has a freeplay option but it's alot of fun to try to stay alive like Contra and nab the high score without dying.

3. Samurai Showdown(series)- before Soul Calibur SNK came out with their weapon based Fighter.  IT's actually sold and pretty fun at least to me.  People seem to like #2 the best but I just have more nostalgia for the first one.

4. Time Traveler(sega)- everyone knows Dragon's Lair right?  Here's it's cheesy FMV cousin with a really unique cabinet that creates a holographic illusion(think holograms).  The game was created by Fred Dryar the man behind the programing of DL.  To me it's not much worse than most laserdisc games that play "simon says push right, etc..."

5. Dungon's and Dragons: Shadow of Mystara - one of these days I'm gonna have to get me one of these(yes it's the sequel to Tower of Doom).  Capcom made great 4P beat'em up with branching paths, lots of areas to explore and lots of hidden weapons to try to grab and keep.  It's RPG elements capture alot of the D&D lore and ascetics.  There's some good replay value here ^^

I can't think of too many classic era games because I was caught in the middle of the 80s and the 90s...if I think of anything else I'll post it up

I'm looking for a TMNT/single monitor cpl box because mine was cut up.  If you can make one I'll take it too....the top needs to be set like a 4p xmen

If it's clicking you may need a flyback.  I am not the best at monitor repairs but I do know what that sounds like

My understanding is the mono games were TMNT, GI JOE, Bucky O'Hare, and Crime Fighters.

The rest are stereo.

For the most part.  Some games were converted to mono and my friend had a Turtles in Time he swears was dedicated that was Mono.  Bucky O'Hare is an adaptable board so it can be Stereo or Mono depending on the settings.  The only way to really tell is 1. the color of the joysticks(each Konami game has it's own wico colors), 2. if the sticker is still on the back.

I could see this as a Turtles to Simpsons conversion but I haven't seen it myself. Konami sold alot of kits for these cabs.

As for me I'm grabbing what I can as I'm working on a Bucky O'Hare myself.  I just found the lost CPL and sent it off to get repoed so I'm hoping to have an art kit in the next three months.
