not sure on the make of the monitor yet  i will have to remove it from the cab.  here is the problem.  the screen is a bit dark even with the brightness turned up. so i slightly adjusted the screen knob on the fly back and turned down the brightness on the control panel.  what appeared on the screen was a 2 inch tall band across the screen that is completely out of focus.  the rest of the screen is in focus. 

is this a fly back issue. or possibly a cap kit?  I am guessing its a K7000 monitor.
