Title: Adam's FPGA Pole Position Clone - Name Ideas?
Post by: Mikey on May 03, 2016, 01:04:39 am
I was watching the Jump Bug restore (for like the 4th time - damn night job...) and it reminded me that Adam was looking for names for his FPGA clone of Pole Position.  Since it will handle Pole Position and Pole Position II, my idea for the name is:

"Dual Position"

Unique enough to be its own, outright says it's for both games, similar enough that people will likely associate it with the original, and it sounds less risque than "Multi Position".

Thoughts?  Any other name ideas?

Assume the Position...

That way everyone who owns a real board will understand :)

I wanted to make something new that's absolutely not.

"Pole Position I + II" is the best I can come up with. Everything else sounds a little too... yeah.
