Title: qbert battery replacement
Post by: qrulz on March 06, 2015, 10:21:43 pm
I still have my original battery on my qbert board and have read that this should be removed to prevent acid leakage.  Do I just desolder the battery and that's it? Can the battery be replaced? If so with what kind of battery?  Any advice would help a lot.

yep, desolder the battery. You can replace it with a cordless phone battery like one from walmart.

I think its 3.3 v or 3.6

Usually 3 batteries in blue , white or black shrink plastic with a black and red wire on it.
Sometimes is a small square .

I put one in my kickman machine a while back.
you solder the positive to the positive and the negative to ians pubic hairs.
