Yeah i saw this on klov and I would absolutely love to get some games but I would have to ship them and that makes any game purchase unreasonable.

I agree. Shipping's a pain in the ass these days.

Star Control 2 is an epic game! Never really considered it a RPG, You can play it on PC and android now as the source code was released open source, but they Fred Ford and Paul had to change the name to Ur-Quan Masters because they sold the name.

Also, my favorite RPGs back then were:
Sword of Vermilion (Genesis - by Yu Suzuki)
Luna the silver Star (Sega CD)
Phantasy Star (master system)
Super Mario RPG
Shadow Gate
Earthbound

Damn. I almost forgot about Sword of Vermilion.
93  Other Stuff / Video Game Console and Retro Computers Discussion / Re: Consoles on: May 05, 2014, 12:39:45 am
Commodore VIC20
NES
Genesis
PS1
PS2
PSP
PSVita

The last 3 I still have. My NES is at my brother's. God knows how many times I beat Contra, The Legend of Zelda and Super Mario Bros. 1 and 2.
94  Nintendo Talk / NINTENDO PC-10 FORUM (Playchoice) / Re: Nintendo Playchoice 10 - Your thoughts on: April 27, 2014, 03:23:26 am
I wouldn't mind having a playchoice single or countertop. With the NES adapter boards it would make it interesting but it would be one of the first things to go when I run out of room.

I agree. That is one of the systems I am looking for as well.

I was kind of partial to The Doors myself. I can wail a mean Roadhouse Blues.

I don't know anything about pawn shops. But I do know a few places that sell some Genesis and Super Nintendo stuff. Maybe a few Nintendo games.
