Title: Can you help me id this cabinet?
Post by: zds76 on March 19, 2014, 05:30:49 pm
I got this and have no idea what the cab was originally. The Measurements are H67 1/4 D 28 and           W 25 1/2.  I'm actually thinking of turning into a 485 in 1 game elf machine. But I would like to know what this could have been originally and if it were something cool Id like to try to do a resto on it and turn it back into its original glory. I couldn't figure out how to attach pix so this was the quickest thing I could come up with.

I can't id it 100% but it looks like a sega/gremlin cabinet.

Yeah, I'd agree. The coin door doesn't look like Frogger.

I think the coin door might have been added later. I can't find any sega cabinets with the over/under coin door.

I was thinking it could be a gremlin but the control panel does not look the same. The joystick bolts are not carriage bolts they are welded into the cp. also there is a channel that rests on the frame of the cab. Was there a standard type of monitor that came in the gremlin cab?
