Author Topic: Zaxxon Machine.. runs but keeps reset looping  (Read 2320 times)

I do a ram/rom test and it says ok..
you can see game displayed and running on screen... sound sounds like its resetting constantly.
Any idea?  i can get a vid of what its doing.

Did you watch John´s videos? Maybe it´s just a connectivity problem with the edge connector.

Try the edge connector. Check board for bad caps (especially on input power). Use DMM or logic probe to see if chip is Watchdog resetting.

First things first...

Check the voltage. You need to make sure you have +5V.

Here's the Zaxxon pinout:

you need to put your DMM probes on A + C or 1 + 3 on the edge connector and see if you get +5V

yeah cuz the video is not resetting , it just sounds like the sound is looping
