Hi all!
I'am troubleshooting an Atari Road Blasters.
Sometimes the game won't start, the display just show a static
Image which seems pretty random. 9 of 10 times it does startup.

I've checked the following:
* line voltage before and after the line filter
* measured the line cord to line filter (0 ohm)
* 5,1 Volt from the power supply. (Switched power supply...not the original one)
* Tried an extra Cap on the 5V supply line

Observations, when the game do start it always plays a sound....otherwise silent and that static on screen garbage graphics.

Anyone out there have experience with the system 1 boards?
