Where did you start with it, and where are you at now with it?

The one machine you are focusing on the most.
So people stop asking where your at with it in the chat box .

Mk2 was a lonnnnnng expensive learning experience for my first full restore.
Body work, new cp replacement, new boards,  rebuild monitor chassis, rewire cab.
new artwork and t molding.  little things . new controls and some paintwork.
Im just waiting on sideart for my MK2 machine and that project is done.

Again , I have other projects but for now this is my main project.

for me it's Q*bert, see my thread on it, I think it's further down the page.
I'm actually surprised how affordable it's been, unlike my Ms Pacman which cost a fortune to do.

I woulda thought it was the other way around .. huh.
Everytime I see a qbert board go up for sale people go nuts.

Yeah, I was dreading the cost of fixing this game, but the artwork has been much cheaper than my other projects, and since most of the original stuff is still inside is intact I don't have too many internal parts to find.
I probably won't be using an original Gottlieb board though (terribly unreliable design sadly) and that may have something to do with it being cheaper.  Grin

Seriously though, look at the prices on Ms Pac art sometime it's really pricy, I have a feeling that the whole Namco copyright fiasco has something to do with that....

Baby pac-man.. NOS video ram came in the mail last night from the magic land of ebay. Put it in and the video side of the game is fixed. Now, focus has shifted to MPU repair. Next will be connector replacement. Then cap kits on video and monitor boards. Then rebuilding the joysticks. Then shopping the playfield. Then all the other misc cosmetics including bondo, new paint and side art.

It's not in there anyway, it was Konami Yie Ar Kung Fu, I am going the easy route with Jamma/Jrok I know, but I always intended to with this one. Board should be here next week.
