Hey John,

Did you ever get your QBert working properly again? I read in a thread on KLOV where one guy mentioned he needed to give QBert its own plug because it malfunctions when its on a strip with other games. I remember in your video that you mentioned you suspected the problem to be power related. I hope that helps if you haven't already figured it out by now.

I took your advice and met some people on KLOV. There happens to be a HUGE collector where I am moving to in IL!

John has gathered an excellent collection! These are basically all the games at the top of my list as well. So if anyone has anything they want to sell, let me know.

Thanks!

That's good to know. It's tempting to buy on eBay for instant gratification, but I don't want to be feeling like I got ripped off every time I play it. That would definitely be a joy kill for me. I'm sure eBay helps for certain games. So I won't rule it out.

Hey John,

$200 for that? I was thinking $400 was cheap! Its hard to find a DK cab for less than $1,000 on eBay or any used arcade game reseller. What do you think about all these games going for $1,000 or more? If I had to buy all your games on eBay or used arcade game resellers, I would estimate paying between $10-15,000.

Hello eCockpit89,

Welcome to the forum. I just joined the forum myself last week. John just posted a video about how to score some cabinets. It seems like an expensive hobby, but an awesome one. I don't have any cabinets myself, but will have room when I move to IL this summer. So I will also be looking for some cabinets too.

Thanks RushDude! Do you have any cabs?

Hello,

My name is Erik, and I'm a bad guy.  Grin

Anyways, I am moving out to the Mid-West this summer and will actually have room for stuff! I live in a 1,000 sg. ft. apartment and will be moving into a 2,100 sq. ft. house. That is a lot of space for me and my family!

I will have a dedicated Game room that is about 325 sq. ft. which is a rectangular room. The dimensions are 13ft by 25ft give or take a foot. I figure I could fit a lot of cabinets in there over time. Maybe start with a couple cabs, a pool table, and some pinballs. There is a little wet bar in there too.

John, I love your arcade basement! Your videos have really inspired me to get into this hobby and start a collection of the 80's arcade games which I used to play on all the time as a kid.

Right now, I do not have any games. Not even a Wii! So I'm excited to move and get started!
