I can't believe that I'm going to possibly identify this cabinet instead of the MASTER JOHN himself.

Here's the cabinet identity chart on this forum. Look at the Bally/Midway picture, 3rd row from the top, second cabinet from the RIGHT side. Satan's Hollow. Is that it?

Really sounds like you have a magnetic field in that part of your house that is messing with the monitor. Any big electric motors or anything else around that spot even on a different floor that could have a big magnetic field? Also could just be the earths magnetic field. Try putting the entire cabinet in a different location and see what happens. Otherwise someone on here that's good with G07's will have to help you.

Yes it did BUT.... Next time put on some safety glasses. Last weekend I got a chunk of metal in my eye and a visit to the ER too because I didn't put on my safety glasses. I know better and could have avoided it.

If it's playing blind $300 is more like it. Probably a monitor issue.

How experienced are you in replacing capacitors? The reason I ask is because some boards are printed incorrectly, you need to pay close attention to the polarity of the caps you pulled out..

Yeah I ran into this issue when doing my WG 4900. There was at least one cap that the board was not printed correctly and I had to make sure to look at each cap as I removed them to make sure that the polarity was correct when I put the new one in.

I had a similar situation when I did my WG4900. Turned out that I just needed to adjust all the color pots, they were just WAAAAAY out of adjustment. Other than that I'm really not experienced enough to make any guesses.

Here's the power switches they list. Yours looks like it has 4 wires so get one that is for 4 wires.

That switch is a goner. It doesn't look like the original switch anyhow. I'd go on the web and look for a new one.

Did you get the Souza kit? From a guy named Slava? He's very helpful with problems with his kits and stands behind them. I'd send him an email with a picture/video of what it's doing. He might be able to tell you exactly what the trouble is and how to fix it. Heck he even had me send my PCB to him and he fixed mine for no charge. I even offered to pay him and he wouldn't take anything.

Is the test switch on?

Just a guess but I'd say either the blue gun is stuck on because the gun is bad, OR.... the transistor on the neck board that controls the blue gun is bad and stuck in the on position. There's a few other things in that circuit like resistor and such that could cause the transistor not to work the right way, but I'd guess the transistor itself. They are a cheap part and easy to swap, so even if it doesn't fix it, it's worth trying.

, Jr. and Popeye (and who knows what else) used that same cabinet. Only way to know is strip that black paint and see what color is underneath and even that would only be a clue and not conclusive. Any tags, or I.D. numbers, or serial numbers on/in it. That "might" help find out what it used to be. (My bet is if it has a Popeye bezel there's a good chance that it was a Popeye, but anyone could have put that bezel in it).

Don't know it either, but I would bet it was something like a Video Poker game or something of the sort.
