I started getting back into the games I grew up with two or three years ago.  A small apartment in San Francisco kept this specific to consoles, with an Omega being the closest I'd come to arcade.  18 shockboxes later I ran out of space.

Last October I moved to a larger space in Berkeley, have a small space in the basement to create a workshop, and recently grabbed a Gyruss to start working on.  I've logged hundreds of hours of video tutorials (thanks John!), but otherwise have little experience with woodworking and electronics at this level, though I'm certainly intrigued by the challenge.  Here's hoping in a year I don't end up with a Gyruss that looks like a Wacko.

Current wishlist: Robotron cabaret of course.
