Title: Best strategy for damaged DK CPO?
Post by: Tarantulas on August 23, 2014, 09:42:41 pm
I've got a pretty rough CPO that I need advice on.

It's got a lot of chipping damage at the bottom on the outward facing edge from years of abuse, plus a laminate that appears to be applied with whatever it holding "The Donald's" hairpiece on.

What's the best way of cleaning this up for a restore?  Bondo wood filler, and some sort of stripper to take off the old laminate?  I purchased a new vinyl kit from TheOldGame that I'd like to use.

As always, thanks for your expertise!

I have a friend that can reproduce those panels to the exact fit and style.
he owns some Nintendo cabs so he knows what I need without me giving him measurements and stuffs.

If I had to , id repair what I already have but if I could have somebody make me a new one from the same material Id do that first.
john met him.. he bought a dragons lair off him.
