Post by: Servo on December 19, 2013, 12:11:38 pm
Im having a problem with my donkey kong and i was wondering if anyone could help. As im playing the game im losing the horisontal hold after a few minutes. Can this be a voltage issue or is it my monitor. Any help would be great. Thanks

Sounds like the monitor. There is a hold pot on the middle of the 20EZ chassis and also a pot on the game PCB.

Tryed that, when i turn off the game and then back on again the pictures great. Then after a while it loses the hold. Didnt mess with the pots on the pcb though. Ill try again tonight when i get home to fine tune. The thing is my power supplys been a little flacky. I got a new one but i didnt like the numbers from it so i put the old one back. Im just wondering if it can have something to do with the voltage. Thanks again
