I really have no problem with the Soldapullt. Why you guys need that fancy stuff for cap kits?!?

you know how different it was going from pliers to a real ratcheting crimper?
Thats the difference when you go to the hakko 808 to desolder stuff.

I agree that the soldapullt works ok, but ever since i have my Pace desoldering station, my soldapullt is collecting dust  Cheesy

This is a great thread don't know how I missed this. I will have to admit I have copied most of John's equipment just so I can look at his how to's and be able to know I have the right tools.
Make sure you got that hi tech flux apply tool that john uses Cheesy

40  Arcade and Pinball Discussions / General Arcade and Video Game Discussions / Donkey Kong Cocktail CP Repro vector files on: March 20, 2014, 09:38:44 am
Hey guys,

I did not find a dedicated artwork section on the forums, so i hope its ok to post it here.

I have posted this on DLF, so its a straight copy paste from there  ;)

I do need to add that i took the color from the scan as i dont have the Original source, so it could be that it needs to be colormatched.
anyway, here the post ;

I have had this long on the "todo list", and finally i started and finished it.

Cocktail Table Control Panels Vectorised for Reproduction By Etienne

there are two different metal control panels;

I made 2 layers, one with the ink, and the other containing the cut / mill lines.

as seen in the sample pics, there is a "028M" and a "028S" variant.

I started with the "028M"

After that i did the adjustments to that file to create "028S"

if you want them, here are the download links:
